Live Review: Tigercub at Electrowerkz

Tigercub prove their worth as headliners at Electrowerkz, leaving the crowd gasping for more.

It’s not often a band can bring the house down mere days after the release of their debut album. But for Brighton based trio Tigercub, this seems no mean feat at London’s Electrowerkz less than a week after the release of ‘Abstract Figures In The Dark’. Their setlist — although predominantly comprised of older material than the visceral tracks from their infant full-length — the band have the crowd eating out of the palm of their hands from the first sludgy chords of ‘Antiseptic’ right through to gritty and aggressive vocals in closer ‘Migraine’.
