“Do you feel safe?” At this moment in time I do not “feel safe”, as I am being thrown around the Pav Tav. The Xcerts are in full swing on-stage, thrashing and writhing in-time to “This is a Warning”.
The crowd is going wild. So much so that I can’t stand being at the front of this giant sweatbox anymore. Bodies are being tossed up into the air, much to the annoyance of the bouncer. A chandelier is swinging violently above, with each of its bulbs smashed one by one.
Darkness.
Out of the gloom, the band play Aberdeen 1987. Murray’s voice carries across the whole room, his Scottish lilt spurring on the audience. All hands are in the air and every voice is singing along in unison.
